Guru Padmasambhava Statue – Muktinath, Mustang, Nepal

Guru Padmasambhava Statue – Muktinath, Mustang, Nepal
Year of Work: 2016
The Guru Padmasambhava Statue at Muktinath, Mustang, Nepal is a remarkable sacred monument dedicated to Guru Rinpoche, the great master who introduced Vajrayana Buddhism to the Himalayan region. The statue is located in the spiritually significant pilgrimage site of Muktinath. The statue stands amidst the breathtaking landscapes of the Himalayas inspiring pilgrims and visitors from around the world.
In 2016, I had the honor of contributing to this important project through traditional Buddhist artistic and decorative work. Every detail was created with deep respect for Buddhist iconography and Himalayan artistic traditions ensuring that the statue reflects the wisdom, compassion and enlightened presence of Guru Padmasambhava. Being part of such a sacred project in one of Nepal’s most revered spiritual destinations remains a meaningful and memorable experience in my artistic journey.
